Topics Covered for beginner 1. *Guru Vandana*: A traditional Indian classical dance offering to the guru, paying respects and seeking blessings. 2. *Teentaal*: A 16-beat rhythmic cycle, covering: - *Basics*: Fundamental movements and footwork. - *Tukde*: Short rhythmic phrases. - *Tihaai*: A rhythmic repetition of a phrase or movement. - *Kavit*: A poetic expression through dance. 3. *Hasta Mudra*: The art of hand gestures, exploring various mudras and their significance. 4. *Shringaar*: An exploration of emotions and expressions using Hasta Mudra, focusing on the theme of love and beauty. This workshop is designed to introduce beginners to the fundamentals of Kathak, building a strong foundation in technique, rhythm, and expression.
